Henna is a paste made from the ground leaves of the henna
plant. It originated in Egypt and flourished throughout Northern
Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. It is an integral part of
culture, tradition, celebration, and various religions. Applied on
various places of the body, the stain can last anywhere from 1-6
weeks depending on care given.
In the past 20 years, henna has become part of mainstream in
America. Men, women, and children of all ages may receive a
henna tattoo at a local festival or even for their own weddings.
I am available for traditional henna work to classical nude work.
